The aim of the Department of Architecture is to educate contemporary architects who can compete at national and international level, use knowledge and technology correctly, respect the environment, society and ethical values, have creative, entrepreneurial and leading characteristics.

It is aimed that the graduates of the Department of Architecture will be qualified architects who can identify and analyse problems correctly, develop formulas and produce solutions with the right decisions, and take important roles in joint studies, both in their own professions and in other related professions. Their duties include design decisions, project design and detailing as well as practical functions depending on the requirements. The education programme, which is planned in line with these objectives, focuses on architectural design and project design, with an integrated curriculum supported by theoretical knowledge courses, to educate students in various subjects and to bring them into society as versatile architects who can contribute to the quality of life.
